report on the lost city of Angkor wat

The lost city of Angkor Wat
Image result for angkor wat
Angkor wat is one of the ancient civilisations in the world but was yet to be discovered by the world. In Cambodia there lied a lost city ‘Angkor wat’. ‘Angkor’ means city and ‘wat’ means temple, which can be translated as ‘temple city’ or ‘capital temple’.
In April 1858 a french explorer named Henri Mouhot, he traveled from London to South east Asia. For the next three years he had explored all of southeast Asia and had discovered many insects in exoitic jungles. Today no one would know who he was if it wasn’t for his journal, that was published in 1863 and was found after he had died two years in Laos. From a fever at the age of  35.
Many years after Mouhots death many other Archeologists came to Angkor. They had revealed that Angkor wat was built in 1150 and is four times larger than Vatican city but was still unheard of back in the 1860s.
Archeologist discovered many thing when they explored inside the ancient city.Detailed carvings of people in traditional clothing scattered the walls of the once so great city. Cambodia Was once a large country that was less than half the size of California and twice the size of Scotland. Angkor was once the capital of the Khmer kingdom, that was famous for it’s 12th century temples.
unfortunately it struggled during the war during the war with Thailand leading to losing some of its land to Thailand. Even today there are still many landmines scattered near the ancients temple that is overgrown with vegetation and are still being looked for.
On the 9th of November 1953, Cambodia was officially declared a country after it’s independence from france five months earlier. After that Angkor wat opened to the public, from national to international. Recently the Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Americans and other Asian and European countries came into Cambodia to help give Cambodia a modern look but still keep with tradition at the same time.

After roughly 1,200 years of history this Ancient city is no longer lost but there are still many secrets to discover.

Ancient Rome was an Italic civilisation that begun on the Italic peninsula. It was built in the eighth century B.C. and started from a tiny little village to the biggest city of its time. It is said that Rome used to have a population of 1 million people when it was at the peak of its power. Legend says that Rome was founded by twin brothers, Romulus and Remus, the sons of Mars, the (Roman) god of war.
The Colosseum (as you can see in the corner) was one of the great entertainment theatres in Rome back when it was functional and more new looking. Many Romans went there to watch the gladiators fight ferocious animals such as, bears, lions or tigers and of course, fight each other. The gladiators wore armour and took a weapon out with them into the battlefield. They would be taken up in an elevator (not electronic) from underneath the battlefield instead of walking in from the outside (the same thing happened with the animals).
Image result for the colosseumAs the Romans grew they conquered more lands and each time they did they adopted the things from other cultures that they liked. They even adopted other peoples gods that were from other cultures! Once the Romans met the Greeks and heard about their gods, they decided to adopt them. They even changed the gods names so they sounded like Roman names and changed the gods story’s so that they sounded more like Roman gods. In the end, they seemed like they had been Roman gods all along.
In 79 A.D, the massive volcano called Vesuvius erupted, obliterating the Roman city of Pompeii. Everyone had fled once they saw the first sign that the volcano would erupt: a huge cloud of debris rising from out of the volcano, covering the region in a 16 foot pile of volcanic ash. But some people still stayed behind. Not too long after a lot of the people escaped, a giant combination of pumice and ash came rolling down the sides of the volcano. It was as hot as 1 300 degrees Fahrenheit and came down the volcano at a pace of 70 mph. It almost completely destroyed and it killed more than 2000 people.

Julius Caesar was one of the most famous emperors to ever live. He was born in or around 100 B.C and joined the Roman army in 81 B.C. He was the first Roman army commander to invade England which he did in 55 B.C and again in 54 B.C. He was born into a really wealthy family and was well educated as child and was really passionate about sport. Unfortunately, in 44 B.C Caesar was murdered by politicians that  thought he was too obsessed with his own importance.

Ancient Rome was quite a dangerous place back in it’s day but it still had one giant population. Rome should be a great interest in scientists and biologists all over the world. It has such interesting tales locked away just waiting to be found. Rome is quite an interesting place and will inspire lots of people over the years.

here's a link to a website that has a lot of information.

The lost city was found in the area of reserva biologica what was also hear at the time honduras.
over the hundred of years the lost city and be claimed to found in reserva biologica and honduras rainforest, after time the undergrowth has build over the lost city and even now people are trying to find the lost city. And i will give you a reasons why people are still trying to find the lost city because if someone did find the lost city someone would step and has something like i will pay you 11 million if you give some of the lost city and the i will give you the money and that is the first reason why someone would want the lost city.
In the world there were 34 lost cities but the one that i’m going to be talking about the lost city sanchi.Sanchi was found in the capital of egypt, where lot’s of other ancient thing found in egypt,Sanchi was a city where they always wanted peace but they never got peace because other countries and other lost cities tried to take they land. Most people were trying to take sanchi down was because it had one of the most oldest stones that sanchi stole from india and that people were trying and get it back, because i bet at the time that stone was a lot of money. In the lost city they was a population of 2000 people in the city and if you think of that isn't a lot of people to live in one city, and now days in new york the population is 1.6 million people who live in new york, that like the lost city population times 800 to get to the population of new york.

when the lost city came down into piece it fell about 1000 years ago and when it well they were some celebration in egypt because like i said before that some other temples were trying to destroy the lost city.

Role model

How to be a positive
‘role model’

To be a positive role model you have to be sensible, trustworthy and a hard worker.

You have to be sensible to be a good role model because people might look up to you like a 5-6 year old and they’ll want to be sensible like you to. You also have to be sensible so if someone tells on you the teacher or that person will know you didn't do that because you are sensible and wouldn't do something like that.

If you are sensible you will also be trustworthy. Trustworthy means that you can be trusted when doing a special job for a teacher or friend that normally wouldn't let someone do the special job. If you are trustworthy
people will like you and will let you borrow stuff and will know you will return it how you got it.

If you are sensible and trustworthy you are probably a hard worker and if you are a hard worker you will get all your work done so you don’t have to stay in and complete your work. If your work is done you can go do the things you enjoy and you can go to your sports and be happy.

It is good to have these qualities so you can get out to things on time and you can have a good time.
You are a positive role model

What I think of a role model is where someone always thinks of other people but themselves, and that if someone needs help or needs something they’ll go and help them, and also that if someone asks you to look after something they’ll say of course i will. But to be a good role model you don’t just have to be a role model in school you could be a role model outside of school or in your
house. But don’t be a role model just to get a token from a teacher or something like that,be a role model because you would like to do the right thing’s because do good because good is good to do.

Image result for role modelA positive role model is a person who does the right thing all the time just because it’s the right thing to do, A role model is someone who is well behaved all the time and is someone that people look to if they want to know what is the right thing to do.
A positive role model will sit quietly and not talk to the people around them while working unless they need to. A positive role model will put all their effort in to everything they do even if they find it hard or difficult.A positive role model will always sit nicely and quietly on the matt and not talk to the people surrounding them unless told to.

A positive role model will have good behaviour when going on school trips and try their hardest to represent the school well and nicely remind others to.A positive role model will take all the chances that they have and use them well. A positive role model will pick up any rubbish they find and put it in the bin, A positive role model will always be friendly and helpful to others in the playground.
I think that these things is what a good role model has or should have to be a great positive role model and learner.

How to be a positive ‘Role model’

To be a positive role model for me would be always be doing the right thing and help others if in need and we always have to be a role model to younger kids becauses when they do something they don’t how it can affect the other person if they do something bad.

So if you think something is not right then go over and fix it,it a little kid is hurt or someone is being a bully tell them to Stop think and act about what they have done and if they still understand then tell them one more time and in class use your manners and be positive about the right things you do.

DO GOOD BECAUSE GOOD IS GOOD TO DO

positive role model

Being a positive role model is someone who always does the right thing and sometimes goes to greater lengths in doing the task. They focus at the task at hand and is always there to help when someone is in need. They're Always trying their best and are considering what they are doing so they can make everyone happy. They are there to help with anything they can, even if it’s the smallest chore. They take any opportunities and are smiling when they are doing it.

No matter how hard it is they try and do the best they can like not running or throwing objects inside the classroom. Picking up rubbish when they see any flying around, being respectful to adults by smiling and greeting them when they pass an adult. Listening to an adult and are always being positive and not negative. Everybody has this quality but just don't see it in them self yet or is already doing this but just hasn't noticed it.

How to be a role model

How to be a positive role model

If you want to be a good role model you need to have a sensible attitude in class. When a teacher is talking and if she asks a question then you need to put your hand up and say whatever you need to say instead of shouting it out from the back of the classroom.

When a teacher walks past and when she greets you you actually need to say good morning back to them it’s just showing a bit of manners.

If a little kid from school is having a problem with someone else and actually go over there and sort it out like a proper senior student and if it goes out of hand then get a teacher and leave it alone.

When I think of a positive role model they do the right thing at school at home and everywhere else.
A positive role model is on time for a meeting, school, training, etc..
A positive role model thinks before they act they encourage other people they’re kind to other people whether they’re older or younger  they'll still treat them like a normal person.

A role model inspires other people, they help other people and if they see someone get hurt or trip over they’ll help them up and make them feel better.
This is what a role model does whether it’s at school at home and everywhere else. CAN YOU DO ALL THESE THINGS !!!
